I've checked languages as I've seen other posts had something to do with language that caused this, but I can't change in under Tools in the Root. It's also grayed out. It's set in the System Configuration, Manage Website. Our development site content can be edited just fine.
I also have this same issue on our 2nd production server when I tried editing content in it. Primary production server works fine for editing. I don't know if this is a license issue, but License Information shows both development and stage MAC addresses are correct.
I'm trying to get changes that were done on our development site by a previous developer to reflect on stage.
